The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

If you have a scheduled appointment or other business at the MTF, please verify with your provider or applicable office within the MTF to ensure there are no changes in schedule. To learn how the lapse in appropriations affects your TRICARE benefit, visit www.tricare.mil/shutdown

Health Services

Primary Care Wasatch

We provide services and care to active duty, National Guard, NATO, and Reserve service members of all U.S. service branches. Our mission is to keep our military medically fit and mission capable. Our primary care manager teams are assigned to squadrons for better continuity and familiarization. They meet with the squadron’s leadership periodically to discuss non-mission capable military members and what treatment plan will best return them to fully mission capable. Services provided include routine care of acute illness and injury, minor surgery, preventive health care and counseling.

Additionally, the clinic completes annual Periodic Health Assessments. Unit commanders and supervisors have the authority to grant up to 24 hours sick status/quarters at their discretion if a member’s illness/injury does not require MTF intervention. Reference: AFMAN 41-210, para 4.11.4.

We also provide primary medical care to beneficiaries from birth to geriatric age for active-duty family members as well as retirees and their family members. Available services include diagnosis and treatment of acute illness, chronic disease management, well-child care and adult physical exams, developmental and behavioral evaluation, and preventive health care.

Clinic nurses are also available during duty hours to provide medical advice via MHS GENESIS Patient Portal Secure Messaging or telephone regarding at home care for minor conditions and illnesses. If you have questions, send a MHS GENESIS secure message or, if you prefer, call our appointment line at 801-586-2273, choose the book an appointment option, and request a consult with your nurse. Your message or call will be addressed as soon as possible.

We focus on managing the health and performance of the supported base population of all flying and special operations duty personnel.
